Glenvale Park shortlisted for Placemaking Project of the Year

We were delighted to be shortlisted for Placemaking Project of the Year at the Insider Midlands Residential Property Awards last month. Although we didn’t take home the prize, it was great to be recognised amongst some of the most high profile projects in the Midlands.

We ensured that no stone has been left unturned with our placemaking strategy in Wellingborough. Attention given to placemaking through our range of high-quality homes, landscaping and community engagement has allowed us to become a thriving, well-known part of Wellingborough.

The Insider Midlands Residential Property Awards is now in its seventh year and showcases the best projects and developers over the past 12 months. The Placemaking Project of the Year category recognises residential developments which create vibrant and sustainable communities rather than just dwellings, incorporating elements such as good design, landscaping, major investment in community amenities and a strong focus on wellbeing and social cohesion.

Judges commended our effort in fostering a strong sense of place by shining a spotlight on community, sustainability and wellbeing aspects of the masterplan as well as establishing strong relationships with not only the residents and wider community, but also with a range of political stakeholders.

Mark Best, Director of Midtown Capital, Managing Partner of Glenvale Park LLP, said:
“It was an absolute honour to be shortlisted for Placemaking Project of the Year. Through a number of resident events, an ongoing programme of community engagement initiatives and our social value programme, we’ve been able to integrate into Wellingborough effectively, bringing a sustainable extension to the town with a range of community facilities.

“Being shortlisted at the Insider Midlands Residential Property Awards comes at a very exciting time for Glenvale Park, with the opening of our country park and work on our two new educational facilities set to take place in the coming months. We’re very excited to see what the rest of the year has in store!”
