COUNCIL’S STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE TAKE A TOUR OF GROWING GLENVALE PARK COMMUNITY

Last week at Glenvale Park, we hosted a Garden Communities Members tour with the Council, showcasing the vast progress that has been made across the development.

With hundreds of residents now calling Glenvale Park home, the progress demonstrates that Glenvale Park is well on its way to establishing itself as a key asset to garden community a for residents and future generations.

The Garden Community Members sit on the Strategic Planning Committee at North Northamptonshire Council, ensuring developments meet sustainable growth needs, through the creation of well-planned and managed neighbourhoods, which integrate both physically and socially within their surroundings.

With Glenvale’s Park’s phase 1 infrastructure works now largely completed, the main attention has turned to the community assets including the open space and biodiversity across the site. The members could see the new ecosystems becoming more established which complements the 200 acres of parkland surrounding Glenvale.

Mark Best, Director of Midtown Capital, Managing Partners of Glenvale Park LLP, said:

“Today was a great opportunity to share and celebrate the growth of Glenvale Park with the Garden Communities Members.

“The last time members saw the site, it certainly looked quite a bit different to today. And although construction is still ongoing, , it’s been great to now see residents moving to the development in recent months, who now call Glenvale Park home.’

“With multiple projects like the schools and community buildings coming to fruition, we were pleased that the Garden Community Members were able to see the positive progress made so far. We’re really excited to be continuing with this progress, as we look forward to unveiling a multitude of upcoming projects, including the two new schools, in addition to the community hub, in 2023.”
