Glenvale Park’s Summer Bonanza back with a bang

The Glenvale Park Residents’ Association welcomed hundreds of visitors to this year’s Summer Bonanza, which took place on Saturday 14 June on Glenvale Park Green.

Building on the success of last year’s event, the Summer Bonanza returned bigger and better than before, with a packed afternoon of food, fun and fantastic entertainment for all ages.

From alpacas and inflatable games to a fairground and market stalls, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Visitors were treated to a brilliant mix of live music, tasty food vans and magical ‘meet and greets’ with family favourites, including Elsa and Bluey.

The event also featured energetic performances from local groups including cheerleaders, Irish dancers, the Kettering Bhangra Dancers and Stellar Dance.

Paul Prosser, Chair of Glenvale Park Residents’ Association, said:
“It was wonderful to see so many people come together to enjoy the day. Events like this really show the heart of our community and we, as the committee, are so proud to have organised it.

“A huge thank you to our sponsors Heart of England Co-operative, Barratt Homes, Wingers and Silverstone Leasing for helping to make it happen.”

Drone footage taken by Glenvale Park resident, Kieron Connelly captured the atmosphere on the day, showing smiling faces, busy stalls and a real buzz across the Green.
