Flipping fun at Glenvale Park this spring

Spring has arrived at Glenvale Park and with it, a host of community events. We look back on the Glenvale Park Residents’ Association Pancake Race and forward to the exciting events ahead.

Glenvale Park Pancake Race

The Glenvale Park Residents’ Association’s first ever Pancake Race stacked up to be a family favourite with hundreds of people from across the development joining in the fun.

The community event, held outside Glenvale Church of England Primary School, brought families and friends together for a variety of pancake races, including a four-person relay and a dedicated race for kids. Participants made the most of the sunshine and tucked into plenty of tasty treats, including fresh pancakes and ice creams.

Amanda Lock, Secretary of the Glenvale Park Residents’ Association, said: “It was a pleasure to host our first-ever pancake race and welcome so many residents to join in the fun.

“Thank you to our event sponsor, Heart of England Co-op for its generous contribution.”

Swap rocks for ‘chocs’ this Easter

Easter is just around the corner and North Wellingborough Anglican Church is once again hosting its popular Holy Week Rock Hunt.

From Monday 14th to Thursday 17th April, decorated rocks will be hidden across the parish, waiting to be found by eagle-eyed residents. Participants can swap their rock between 10am and 11:30am on Friday 18th April for a chocolate Easter egg at Redwell School Hall.

As well as the rock exchange, there will be crafts, films and refreshments for everyone to enjoy.
